This prestigious honor recognizes our commitment to creating a supportive and high-standard environment for our nursing staff. In celebrating this achievement, we want to spotlight the incredible dedication of our nurses, who make this recognition possible. After nearly 20 years at YRMC, this week, Senior VP and Chief Information Officer (CIO) Fred Peet will retire, leaving behind a long list of accomplishments and Information Technology advancements to our organization. While his list of contributions are extensive, Fred notes his favorite IT project over the years was the implementation of our Electronic Health Record system, a multi-year, major project that has greatly impacted both our staff and patients. When asked about YRMC, Fred had this to say, "Thank you, YRMC and Dr. Trenschel, for trusting in me to lead the IT Division for the past 10 years. I am beyond grateful."Fred, we are thankful for you and your contributions to our organization and community! We wish you a happy retirement!
